Christmas holidays

Christmas is a tradition. It's celebrated around the world. Christmas represents the birth of Jesus. The principal day is 25th of December. At christmas, the family give presents for children. Normally, the families of the world meet together. In Spain, is celebrated the arrive in 5th of all January of "The three wise men", and all the children are happy. All the world is waiting for this day with illusion . These holidays finish the 8th of January.

The families meet in grandparents houses, and then they eat soup and chiken. The 24th at night comes father chistmas and gives presents for little childrens and parents. The streets are decorated with lights. And in some shops there are little fathers christmas singing, and christian people have a crib, and sing popular christmas songs, an do the christmas tree.

There are some holidays during the year. Some of these are:

-Christmas: Is an important Christian celebration, and there are some important days in these holidays, like the first day of the year...

-Holly week: It's a week and one day of holidays. We celebrate the Christ ressurrection. We eat "la Mona"

-Summer holidays: It's the holiday between one course and other. Most of the people go to the beach, to the swimming pool and other places.

There are other patronal holidays, but some of them are celebrated by cities or countries (they are regional).
