summer holidays

In the summer time, people so to the beach with friens,girdfriend,boyfriend...
In summer , when children finish school , parents are so happy if they soons have passed the course, and then parents so to diferents countries to stay some days there , wis ifing monuments , and museums .But , now there is the "crisis"and many people who stay in their country , they go to the swimming pool , play tennis or do any activities in their country.

The school

Our school is very and is also too old. There are a lot of classrooms. In each class there is a computer. The playground is also very big , there are six goals and seven baskets. In the playground there are a sports cantre. It is very big and we do sport on there. For small children there is a nursery. We stay six hours in the school , with two rests, one for the playground and the other for lunch. Our teachers teach a lot of subjects, but we like English a lot. It is a important languagefot the future. This is all, "WE LIKE SCHOOL".

Formula One

The F1 is a sport very popular and famous around the world nowadays. It is structured in a calendar with many cricuits and many pilots. The most important circuits are: Monaco, Montmeló, circuit of Europe (Valencia), Singapur, Bahrein, Malaisia, Australia, Turkey, Germany and plus circuits.Very famous pillots in tthe competition are: Alonso, Schumacher, Hamilton, Vettel, Webber, Massa, Button, Alguersuari... And the glories of this sport are: Schumacher, Barrichello, Ayrton senna, Micca haccinen, Juan fangio... The motor-racing team are:Ferrari, Mclaren, Merces Gp, Renault, Red bull, Toro rosso, Virgin, Hispania racing, Lotus, Force india, Williams and BMW. And this is every.

the F.M

The festa major normally lasts 6 days, from thursday to wednesday. The festa major is celebrated in Camps Elisis, a big park of Lleida. There are concerts, a musement parks, shops in the street and bars. This year a lot of groups of music come like : estopa, maldita nerea, la pegatina, mecano and a lot of groups that sing in the night. There are all types of people of all ages, that go to enjoy these 6 days. In the night in the river people make 'botellons'. The festa major of Lleida is very popular around the towns and around Leida; It has two F.M, one in September and the other in May.

Summer

We are going to talk about summer.

Summer is a period from june to semptember. In Lleida, summers are very hot. In summer all the families take advantage:

-Going to travel.

-To the beach.

-To the mountain.

- etc.

Last summer, we traveled to New York and we visited a lot of things.

Next summer we are going to travel to Egypt. We are going to take a plane in Barcelona and we land in the capital of Eqypt.

We hope to enjoy the trip, because is our favourite city and we traveled here one time!

There are a lot of circus around the world, one of the best circus in the world is the "cirque du solei". This circus was created in canada. Now, in the circus there only one actuations of artist because the law forbid the animals being in cages. For this there aren't efephants, lions, tigers, snakes... in the circus. In the circus there are a lot of special people that they can do things that we can't do, than: trapezes, contorsionists, clowns. We tell newflash that the law, forbit the animals, now there aren't tarners in the circus.

The NBA

the NBA is a league of America, this league is and extraordinary because there are very interesting players, in the last league Lakes won the Ring of Gold, in the lakers the best players are Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol and Ladar Odom,the NBA in the history is michael jordan he wears the number twenty-three and he plays in chicago bulls. And he jumps with the the freejumpand basket,O'neal is an old player because he plays in cleveland cavaliers with lebron james.kobe bryantplaysin los angeles lakers and in one match he made 81 points Pau Gasol was born in Sant Boi and he played in F.C.Barcelona when he arrived in the NBA he played in Memphis Grizzlies and his brother now plays in Memphis Grizzlies too.

THE SPORTS

The most importan sports are:

• Football: in this sport the players play in a football pitch. The teams have 11 players, in the championship these 11 players compete with others 11 players form another team. FCBarcelona is the best team in Europe.

• Basketball: in this sport the players play in a basketball pitch with an orange ball, but they use their hands for play, no their feet(football). The teams have 5 players in the championsip these 5 players compete with other 5 players form another team. The best player in the world was Michael Jordan, and the most representative player is Pau Gasol.

• Tennis: in this sport the players play an individual game or with a couple. They play with a racket and a small green ball.

Basketball

Hello we are Núria and Sandra and we are going to speak about Basketball, because we have played from five years ago. We like so much this sport. We have play three times a week and every weekend we have a basketball match. We play in a team in Maristes, in this team we are ten players and all are girls. We have a coach that his name is Roger.

We are in a leage that there play nine teams. Now we are in the second position, because on the frist match we lose from five points on the last two minutes. Always we have problems with the referee, because he always expels one player of our team.

Our dream is that we want to play in American leage: NBA; or in the Spanish leage: ACB

Christmas

On 25th of December we celebrate the birth of Jesus.

The night before comes Santa and puts presents under the tree. The family decorates the house with lights, the crib and the tree.

The typical of Christmas is the dinner with all the family and next they go to the midnight mass. Here there is the costume of the "tio".

After Christmas there is the Innocents Day on 28th of December, the people play jokes to other people.

On 31st of December is the last day of the year, and the people celebrate it.

The day of the "Three Wise Men" is on sixth of January, people put presents for children in the dinning room. Before, the children wrote letters telling what they want and send them to the three wise men. On Christmas there isn't school and it's very cold.

The tipical food of the Christmas is the soap, the nougats, the gutters, the turkey, the fogs, the mandarins and the king's cake.

The activities that we can do are skiing , snowboard, ice skating,etc.

In the Christmas the people decorate their houses, the Christmas tree and sing christmas carols.

In Spain Christmas are in winter.

In Christmas the family eat toguether the king's cake, inside this ther is a little figure of porcelain in form of a king and a bean.

Fooltbaall

football is a team sport that the objective is score a goal to the other desk. There are twoo teams of eleven players each one. The match is directed by a referee. All the teams are directed also by the coach. Normally ther is one league for each country. The most imporant league is here in Spain. The best team in this league and in the world is F.C.BARCELONA. The last year, it has conquered the six copes. Now, this year, BARÇA does the same way of last year, wins all. But BARÇA this year has more difficulties to win, because madrid also has a good team.

Summer holidays

We stayed summer holidays the 22nd of June. Then we went to the beach one week. Then we went to London and we changed with the family. In the morning we learned, in the afternoon we went to visit the Big Ben, the London eye, the bridge and we travelled by underground. In august we stayed in the mountain, and then we climbed the mountain, we did canoeing,parachuting,played tennis, went with friends. And the first week of September we stayed in Lleida, ang bought all the material for the school, the Saturday we went to "portaventura" with the friends. We went up to the atractions:the Dragon Khan, Furius Baco,... On Sanday we went to the aquatic park. On Monday we start school at 9 o'clock and we finished the summer holidays. The summer was very funny and interesting, but now we returned to the rountine, and it's very boring.

Christmas holidays in Lleida

On Christmas holidays you have a lot of days to do your favourite things: go to skii, buy your presents, go with your friends...

The most famous days are : new years eve, the three wise men, Santa Claus... at new years eve you have to stay with your family and eat the 12 famous grapes. At three wise men you recive a lot of presents, but you have to give anything too. There are a lot of chrismas decorations: Socks, candles, color lights. In christmas Quim goes to the mountain, and I go to the beach, in Penyíscola.
Quim goes to Portaventura, and he goes up to a lot of atractions, for example: Dragon Kahn, Huracan Condor and Furious Baco.

Summer

People in summer go to the beach, and they swim in the water. There isn't school and the students are on holidays. Sometimes in the beach there are a lot of competitions. For the people who don't like sand and salted water there are swiming pools. after the beach you have to have a shower. You put less clothes on summer than in autum spring and winter. In summer there are a lot of parties on the villages. Children go with friends to the cinema, parties... for children, summer is the best season because they can play a lot.
